You've probably heard the expression - "When the going gets tough, the tough get going". Well that's not exactly our group - it's probably more like "When the going gets tough, it's time to be different"

The Gosford Business Network was formed out of a need for a local sporting club to become more creative in its fundraising and sponsorship pursuit activities.

However it has since evolved into a business group that donates its membership fees to the Central Coast Community Chest and at the same time:

- Provides a forum for local business owners to meet, network and swap referrals on a regular basis

- Provides an inexpensive alternative to existing business network groups, and at the same time allow local businesses to feel they are contributing to their local community, but most importantly

- Gives entrepreneurial business owners a viable avenue for increasing turnover, exposure and profits.

Where we meet ....

We meet for a light breakfast each Tuesday morning at 7:15am for an 8:30 finish at

Will I get any referrals?

How do you know whether you will get any referrals?

You don't - but we can guarantee you if you don't attend something like this you certainly won't.

And as they say in the classics - you only get out what you put in.

Feel free to come along for a couple of meetings to see if this is right for you, get comfortable with the other members and what we are doing; then if you think you have something to offer or that we have something to offer you - feel free to join.

What we do ...

The meetings follow a standard format to enable each member to get to know the other members, their businesses and their ideal prospective clients in detail so that when we go about our daily activities we are constantly on the lookout for prospective referrals for our fellow members. In effect we have just put 20+ new salespeople on the road for our business.

Why does it work?

It works for two reasons

1) We meet weekly and this means we get to know you and your business intimately, and

 2) There is only one business of its type represented so all referrals are targeted to that business
